Mission Statement
The
mission of Ancient Art Magazine is to expand understanding and
appreciation of ancient art and antiquities of humanity's past
civilizations through the dissemination of non-technical knowledge and
information and the presentation of these arts in both their
archaeological and artistic splendor.
Ancient
Art: The
Magazine of Antiquities and Archaeology, is the new,
forthcoming international quarterly publication covering all the arts of
antiquity.
Ancient Art will make its worldwide debut in April 2001 as
an English-language periodical devoted exclusively to the art and
archaeology of ancient civilizations. Articles on the culture, history,
personalities, arts and monuments of the ancient world as well features
on archaeology, past and present. Published quarterly (spring, summer,
fall and winter), each glossy magazine-size issue has six-to-eight main
features and scores of archival and new photos in black/white and full
color, plus dynamic graphics.
